Carpet Care Tips
Vacuuming
Almost 85% of the soil on a carpet is dry soil brought in by the soles of shoes. Dry soil is abrasive and can damage the carpet fibers causing accelerated wear. This soil is best removed by regular vacuuming. It is also important to monitor the soil level in the bag of your vacuum. Change it when it is half full. Spot Removal
When removing spots, always apply a small amount and blot it with a clean white cloth. Next, rinse by wetting the cloth with water and blot it onto the spot. Repeat until the spot is gone. Always BLOT never RUB!
Entrance Mats
Using entrance mats inside and outside of doorways will reduce the amount of soil brought into your home.

After Party Cleanup
One of the biggest concerns during the holiday season are wine and drink spills which can happen so easily but may be a pain to remove. Here's some tips to keep that wine spill from becoming a wine stain.
First, make sure to act fast!
•Fill a cup with warm water and add 2 to 3 drops of laundry detergent, preferably clear, for better penetration and distribution
•Saturate the spot with about half the solution, blot the excess with paper towels and repeat this step again
•Rinse with some warm water and blot again
There may be a little soil attracted to the damp spot, before the party's over but that can be removed the next day.
Now that’s all wonderful if you catch the spill right away, but what if the spill goes unnoticed and is allowed to dry and stain the carpet?
•If the carpet is fairly new or only subject to light traffic, the stain may be easily removed with the above process
•Remember that strong, especially alkaline detergents can remove the protective treatments and allow the stain to become permanent
•Never use bleach to remove the stain, since it’s likely that carpet’s color will be removed as well
•If the stain can’t be removed with a water and detergent solution, contact a certified professional cleaning service to remove the red wine
•Certified professionals have a variety of specialized agents and techniques to remove most spots and stains without damage to carpet
•After cleaning, they can re-apply the protective coating to maintain high levels of soil and stain resistance.

Better loooking carpet, better looking home, bottom line better looking.
We have the experience and most advanced methods and materials for maintaining your carpet's appearance. Get the most out of your carpet. Our programs for continued care use innovative products and techniques along with the manufacturer's latest care instructions to extend the life of your carpet and keep it looking clean and fresh. We help prevent soil from building up in the carpet fiber base and avoid the dull, lifeless look of carpets that are cleaned too infrequently. Routine carpet care also prevents matting, spotting and excessive wear, leaving more consistent and pleasant appearance overall.
Here are some question and answers that may be helpful when looking to clean your carpets.
1. How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
Carpets should be cleaned every 6-18 months, even if it does not appear soiled, so that you may protect your investment. Carpet cleaning should occur before the appearance of soil to reduce permanent fiber damage. Some areas of the home may require more frequent cleaning
2. What is the difference between stains and spots? A spot is a discoloration from a dissolvable or removable substance that is lying on or adhering to your carpet fiber, but has not affected the fiber's color. A stain is a discoloration from any substance that has adversely and sometimes permanently affected the fiber or dye.
3. Why is vacuuming my carpet so important?
Dirt can play an exponential role in wearing down your carpet by burrowing into the fibers, and shredding away at them with each pass. We recommend that you vacuum regularly, about once a week, to help extend the life of your carpet.
